Like obviously i sympathize greatly w women who are in loveless, unhappy relationships but on the other hand its rly hard to swallow my words when said women project all their disatisfactions and flaws with their relationships onto me and other wlw as if we “have it so easy” by not being attracted to men
For instance, a real conversation i recently had with a straight woman:
Her: youre so lucky you dont have to worry about your girlfriend cheating on you
Me: i mean…i dont worry about that…bc i know she would never…do you worry about your husband cheating?
Her, laughing: of course! Everyone knows men are likely to cheat, especially with jobs like ours (shes a flight attendant, he’s a pilot)
Me: i mean…if he is a good husband then you should be able to trust him not to cheat on you, just as he trusts you not to
